On this
date, the Township Of Union Committee
will vote to give "Appropriate Authority"
over the Police Department to Union
Township Administrator Frank Bradley. By Approving this ordinance, The Township Committee will relinquish their decision-making powers over the Police Department to Frank Bradley. That will be a decision that will not benefit the citizens of the Township Of Union. |

Fact
#1 |
The Township commissioned Michael J. Renahan Associates to conduct an independent assessment of the Police Department's ordinances, rules, regulations and policies. This study was approved by the Township Committee at a cost of $9,000.00 to the taxpayers. |
Frank Bradley and Michael Renahan were co-workers at the Division Of Criminal Justice during the 70's & 80's |
Gee, Where is that study?
Fact #2 |
| The study was submitted to Frank Bradley On September 29, 2006 and was not approved for release to the Township Committee until approximately 10 months later. |
Two versions of this report have recently surfaced. One of those reports indicates Renahan's expert report was manipulated in a manner to reflect Frank Bradley's self-serving contention that the police department cannot function effectively without him at the helm. |
Oh, Here it is!! |
Version #1 shows handwriting on what should have been a final report. This report indicates that the department's communications and fiscal efforts were "Working Quite Well without a Director Of Public Safety." |
Version #2 shows the final report. This report, after the manipulation by "Someone", indicates the department's communications and fiscal efforts were "Working, albeit marginally, under the current organizational structure without a sitting Director Of Public Safety." |

The Township Committee
minimizes these facts by cleverly diverting
attention away from this suspicious findings
and making it a Police "Contractual" issue.

Citizens of the Township of Union deserve answers
| No one can accurately state who made these changes to this report. Only Michael Renahan or Frank Bradley can answer this question. One thing is for certain, the Union Township Taxpayers deserve a full reimbursement of their $9,000.00 and admonish the township administrator for using an "Old Buddy" for such an important study. This study should be made by an independent company not subject to in-house influence. Citizens of the Township of Union should appear before the Township Committee on November 12, 2007 and voice their opinion. |
